“ Amazing food & service. I highly recommend having dinner at Hillstone Restaurant. Love Hillstone and would come more often except so hard to get a reservation. ”
“ We experienced attentive table service from the wait staff at a corner booth that held a round table at lunch time ! The dark environment made navigating the steps a bit tricky if a person doesn't have excellent vision. The darker areas provide a warm feeling with the dark wood paneling. The food sets this restaurant apart. While the menu is limited, the quality of what they do serve makes up for it. Our coconut shrimp rolls didn't disappoint! They warranted a second plate for the table. The grilled chicken salad and the Caesar salad both served elegantly, tasted amazing! We will return soon! ”
“ Worth the hype. You need a reservation a full month in advance and you have to be on top of making it in the morning when they open the reservations. The food is delicious. And beautiful presentation. I got the cucumber and avocado roll to start and then the pan roasted Scottish salmon for my main. The sushi used cucumber paper on the exterior instead of traditional seaweed. It was so light and refreshing. For the main, they substituted sides for me to make the dish gluten and dairy free. They were super helpful and knowledgeable about dietary needs. I had fries and salad on the side. The fries were skinny and crispy and perfectly seasoned. I loved the texture. And the salmon was melt in your mouth soft. Will be ordering again next time I go. The restaurant is has an elegant low lit cozy vibe. We sat in a cool U shaped booth. It was fun and crowded on a Monday night! ”
“ Managed to get a reservation again for a Saturday lunch and this time In addition to the French Dip we also had the Lamb Sandwich which was also very good. Also tried the Paper Plane cocktail and it was wonderful. Our server Shaleigh was terrific and even replaced the glasses for our drinks with a fresh cold one during our meal which was a nice touch. Great food and drink in a classy, energetic environment. ”

“ Although we have passed Hillstone many times, we have never eaten there. On Park Avenue South it seeks to be refined despite being a chain restaurant. That said, it is an extremely lively restaurant. That was particularly true on the Saturday evening we were there, it was as crowded when we left at 10 pm as when we arrived at 7:45. The food was good but not nothing particularly original, but they are not seeking to be the culinary cutting edge. The cocktails are very good and so is the attentive and personal service. ”
“ My friend owed me dinner :) I've been to the NJ location, Houston's which had a similar vibe, classy. I didn't make reservations so I just got on the wait list to get a spot at the bar. Waited about 45 mins. Started off with the spinach and artichoke dip ($24) which was really good. For my entree, I got the Hawaiian ($62) which was bomb. Something about free meals hit different. And washed it all down with a Coca Cola ($4). It's almost impossible to get a seat in a weeks notice for dinner, I recommend getting there around 5-6pm to get on the waitlist at the bar. This is my go to spot when someone owes me dinner and I highly recommend this spot if someone owes you dinner or for any occasion. * Street parking/parking lot ”
